New book coming this September...

Every woman goes through perimenopause and the menopause, but her experience of the journey will be unique to her. With this book, I wanted to create a toolkit for women in their late 30’s and beyond to help them understand what is going on but more importantly to empower them to be able to tailor their nutrition and lifestyle in an approach that is specific to their personal symptoms, circumstances and journey. This book isn’t simply an amazing resource that contains delicious recipes but it’s a mission. A mission that helps women get agency of their body as they age. The title of the book is “Food for Menopause”.

About the book

There are four parts to the book.

Part 1: Getting to know your needs. Understanding the changes and why it’s happening and how to deal with it can make the whole process a lot less frustrating.

Part 2: Eating for success. Learn the 4 nutritional pillars for success.

Part 3: Living for success: It’s not just about what you eat. But how well you manage stress, how you sleep and how you move.

Part 4: Recipes for success. Delicious recipes split up into easy weekday meals and then weekend meals. Day meals cooked with less than 10 ingredients and under 30 minutes. All nutritious and delicious. All recipes are nutritionally balanced containing hero ingredients what science shows are good additions.

Top tips on how you can adjust the recipe to suit your dietary needs. It includes things such as:

  • Avocado eggs
  • Apple & carrot muffins
  • Dark chocolate crunch bars
  • One pan chicken fajita bake
  • Anti-inflammatory carrot and ginger soup
  • Gut healing chicken korma
  • Thai style salmon with a pomegranate salsa
  • Chocolate olive oil cake

I am so excited about this book. I can’t wait for women to read it, use the tips, try and recipes and most importantly begin learning how to work with their bodies.
